I have a conundrum. Schnur’s book The REALity Diet, which contains many desserts with either low- or no-sugar content, including this simple, tasty recipe for Apple Streusel:

1/4 cup 2:90 granola. FYI: 2:90 is a ratio for fiber intake, which means you need two grams of fiber for every 90 calories. Read the nutritional info on the box, do the math. 

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 tsp sugar substitute, such as Splenda

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 TBSP light margine; chilled and cut into pieces

Nonstick cooking spray

1 large unpeeled apple, cored and sliced

One container 2:90 vanilla yogurt with fiber

Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine the granola, brown sugar, sugar substitute and cinnamon. Using a pastry cutter or 2 knives, cut the margarine into the granola until the mixture resembles coarse meal.

Spray a small, round 5-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange the apple slices in the baking dish. Then, sprinkle with the streusel topping and bake 45-60 minutes or until bubbling. Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool. Serve the streusel warm and top with yogurt.

This is one of those desserts that looks fattening, tastes fattening, but, in fact, is not fattening compared to its “artisan” counterparts that you might find at big-chain coffee shop or in the refrigerated section at your grocery store. With this recipe, you feel satisfied without the bloat that comes with engorging the richer, calorie-laden desserts.
