Trying to find the best way to lose lots of weight quickly? There are many ways of doing this in our day and age. In this article we plan to break the diet down for you into some simple steps that will help you understand the diet better and be able to apply it into your life.

Step 1 – The Pig Out Stage This stage sounds a little contradictory but it really does help in the end. You will eat as many fatty foods as you can for about 2 or 3 days. This does not include sugars but just fatty foods. Get as much of these fatty foods as you can and don’t worry about any reprecussions. After the diet is completed you will see that it all works out so seriously load up on it all now because you won’t be able to eat most of these things during the diet.

Step 2 – Purging The Pounds This is where the diet becomes much more difficult. From here on you will start eating a lot more strict but it can still be easy if you do it right. After you finish the three days of the first diet then you will begin to take HCG drops before each meal. You will start by taking a spoon full of the HCG drops and placing them under your tongue for about 15 seconds. After you have done this you are able to eat only 10 minutes later. You will need to do this for breakfast lunch and dinner. The breakfasts on this second stage will be a simple fruit such as an orange or apple. Your lunch will be about an ounce of meat of some type with unlimited amounts of one vegetable of your choice. The dinner will be the same thing but it cannot be the same vegetable and meat as lunch. You are also able to eating one more fruit before going to sleep. The whole purpose of all of this is to keep your calorie intake to a minimum. The HCG diet drops will give you an advantage because they will help you to not feel a large amount of hunger. It will all be very tolerable. If you keep up with this step then you will most likely lose between 1 and 2 pounds every day if you do it all right. As long as you keep with the plan and keep taking the oral HCG drops you should be fine.

Step 3 – The Maintenance Stage On this part of the diet you will be able to eat things that are listed on the second phase. Except, now you will be able to transition into your normal diet more. You will have more wiggle room to eat some more meat than you would with the second phase as well. You will still continue to take your HCG weight loss drops to help keep your hunger down. Gradually you will reach where you are. After you have lost so much weight and you are at this point you will be going crazy for some fatty foods that you are used to. This is part of the reason why you load up on fats on the first stage. So make sure that you keep yourself clear from most fatty foods. Just remember, if you break the diet and start eating these things you will gain that weight right back. So be sure to stick to the rules that are included with your HCG kit you will receive. But whatever you do, don’t give up in the middle or you will gain it all back.

Step 4 – The Return To Normality This step is simple, you will transition to your normal eating habits. On this step you will just need to make sure that you do not over do your eating. You will slowly begin to start eating your normal foods again so be careful not to eat too much of some bad things. Just don’t over do it all. You will constantly see a difference in your weight with this diet so hold in there and see the great difference!

Hmm. Well, I got up this morning and weighed myself. And I’m at the same weight as yesterday, dang it. I’m still at 162 pounds. I thought I did pretty good yesterday so I’m a little bummed.

I think I need to drink more water. I tend to go in spurts. I’ll drink a ton at once, but then I’ll go hours without any at all. My new plan is to drink an entire glass and then keep a full glass beside me so I’ll keep drinking more. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Lunch was a turkey burger leftover from the other day. That recipe was pulled from the Prescription HCG Diet Direct Recipe Guide. And it’s a keeper.

With the burger I had an orange and some Sesame flavor Melba toasts. I hate all the seeds in the oranges so I think I’ll avoid them from now on and having the Sesame flavor only made me miss the Spicy 3 Pepper flavor that’s my favorite. I’m all out and not too happy about the prospect.

I’ll have to go back to the grocery store that I found them at. They didn’t have them when I went to restock my HCG foods at Walmart so I ended up with a different variety of Melba Toast.

How odd is it that the Melba Toasts aren’t even with the crackers in the cracker section a lot of the time? I haven’t tried the crunchy breadsticks that I heard mentioned in some of the HCG weight loss reviews, but I mean to look for them next time. (They are also oddly placed apparently. I heard they were usually in the Italian food aisle with the spaghetti sauce and pasta).

For dinner I had grilled chicken (it’s a classic…and the kids like it). I seasoned it with the approved Creole seasoning (if you can’t tell I’m getting attached to it). The kids had steamed broccoli, but that’s not HCG approved so I had a romaine salad.

I stayed up after the kids went to bed to watch a movie and relax. I made the Mock Apple Cobbler from the recipe book. And I have to note just how fantastic the smell was while it was cooking. I can’t even tell you how wonderful it smells.

But I’ll try anyway. It smells delicious. It probably smells even more delicious than it tastes, but it still tastes very, very good.

So today went well. I’m doing alright. I’ve been pretty good about sticking to the approved food plan. Although I have been staying home a lot. Going out amongst normal people eating normal food is a tough one for me. But I don’t feel too bad; lots of people talked about it being easier if you stayed home in the HCG weight loss reviews.

I went shopping again last night to get ready for day 2 on the very low calorie diet (VLCD). It’s always more effective to go to the grocery store in the late night in comparison to mid-day. I think throughout the course of this diet that I’m going to need to go to the grocery store a lot more often than normal. But I can do that.

I’m actually feeling pretty good about the fact that I’m actually cooking healthy meals. It’s a little bit impressive, if I say so myself.

My morning started off with me getting up out of bed (more like dragging, really…I’m not a morning person) and getting on the scale to find out that I’m at 165.2 pounds. My first day left me at a loss of almost 6 pounds. Wowwee! If that were to happen everyday I would be on cloud nine! But really, just that it happened once is making me pretty dang happy.

But I am figuring that this is one of those times during which I will drop several lbs at the same time and then have a couple days on a plateau. It was described as part of the typical effects for some dieters. Apparently the big drops and plateaus still even out to equal the average of 1 to Two lbs weight loss per day. And that’s something that I can totally support.

So today is Saturday. I was just too busy dieting. Nothing seemed important enough to warrant the major distraction of shopping.

But I did remember something this morning that I really wanted to get during the big sales so we’re headed out. I am getting the kids ready. I already took my injection and my B-Total. We’re going to leave right after lunch.

For lunch I had a bit of leftover Shake and Bake Tilapia (HCG Recipe Guide version). I also had a sliced tomato with fresh ground pepper. And I tossed an apple in my purse for my fruit serving.

My kids wanted kids’ meals and I thought that would be easier than cooking them a separate meal at home. So we headed out.

After we hit a few stores the kids decided they wanted to eat so we headed to the mall’s food court.

Long story short…I did not do well at the Mall’s food court. There’s nothing HCG approved. And the Chick-Fil-A my daughter ordered was so tempting and when turning away from that…the Panda Express my son ordered was just as tempting. I finally broke. I had a few bites of both kinds of chicken.

I’m on Day 2 and I totally ventured off plan. I went to the mall food court of all places! Dang it! I did do well once I got back home though. I had a romaine salad. I also gave myself a lecture and promised that I wouldn not ever do that again! Tomorrow’s a new day, right?
